As the founder of Transformed Lives Counseling, I believe that we can all become whole: spirit, soul and body. I have been serving the Lord for almost 30 years. Coming from a difficult childhood of abuse, neglect and abandonment and many other situations, I came to a belief in my young years that God did not exist. In my 20’s, God got ahold of me and totally changed my life. I went from an angry, bitter, cynical, and hurting person to living a life free of the anxiety, depression and anger that had been my companion for most of my younger years. Through mentoring, counseling and classes, God took me through a process of shedding those addictive behaviors and attitudes that had held me in bondage for so many years. I have been an ordained minister since 2007 and I have served as a Youth Pastor, Assoc. Pastor and have been teaching and counseling women and teens the Word of God through conferences and one on one sessions. I became a counselor because God has given me a heart for the hurting and being set free myself, I am very aware of the process of seeking truth in love. I believe that when we choose to seek God’s help through a counselor and through the power of the Holy Spirit, we can be set free of destructive and addictive behaviors.
